This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State. Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and often competes against his granddaughter. "He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she revealed. The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety." "My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and relax," she continued. "From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, so he's quite busy." Being non-professional, Kai has competed in only three events recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings. Yet she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with her mother. "He is the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated. "And he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, have fun, following whatever happens." Kai will face some of top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu. The LPGA commented that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, particularly with younger fans. Kai maintains millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle company. The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
